The 2009 ISACA Member-Get-A-Member Campaign Has Begun!
With the help of every member, ISACA will continue to expand its unsurpassed global network, increasing professional knowledge, developing best practices, and stimulating thought leadership. This new campaign will help communicate that ISACA membership increases the value and advances the careers of its members. ISACA welcomes and encourages your participation.
How it Works:
A special web site has been created that will generate emails on your behalf inviting prospective members to explore the value of membership and view a three-minute video. Use of this specially constructed email invitation web site is important to ensure you receive full credit for each new member you recruit.
Through this site you may also view the video clip that prospects will be invited to watch. It features enthusiastic testimonials from ISACA members and leaders that highlight the many benefits and value of membership. Please access the Member-Get-A-Member web site through the link below
Prizes! The more members you recruit, the more chances you have to win!
Grand Prize (US$ 1,000)—Awarded to the member who recruits the highest number of full-dues* paying new members;
Second Prize: (US$ 500)—Awarded to the member who recruits the second highest number of full-dues* paying new members; and
Random Drawing (US$ 500)—One randomly-selected winner will be chosen. Each member will receive one entry in the drawing for each full-dues*paying new member recruited.
*Full-dues paying members are those who pay US$ 130 + local chapter dues (if applicable) + the new member fee.
Who could be a potential member?
A co-worker interested in COBIT/Val-IT;
Colleagues interested in professional growth;
Members of other related associations;
Former members who used to attend ISACA meetings;
Someone who would benefit from certification as a CISA, CISM or CGEIT; and
New college graduates eager for career advancement.
Rules for Participation:
Participation in the Member-Get-A-Member (MGAM) Campaign is open to all ISACA members (not to employers, regardless of the payer of dues).
As a member, you may recruit only those who were not 2008 ISACA members or provisional members. (Members will not get credit for helping a current member renew.)
You will receive credit for each person who joins ISACA as a full dues paying member (US $130 + local dues + new member fee), as a result of responding to the link in the e-mail that you send to your colleagues/friends.
The 2009 MGAM is open from the present through 15 April 2009. The dues payments, for the new members whom you recruit, must be posted at ISACA International Headquarters by 5:00 p.m. (17:00) central time, 29 April 2009 in order to be considered a referral for this campaign.
New members must be eligible for membership, as established by ISACA.
Winning entries will be selected by ISACA in May 2009 at International Headquarters. In event of a tie, ISACA reserves the right to decide how the prizes will be awarded. All decisions are final.
Information regarding new members may be utilized by ISACA for organizational purposes.
Prizes are not transferable and may not be redeemed or exchanged for other alternative goods or services.
Winners shall be responsible for all taxes associated with the prizes.
ISACA reserves the right to cancel, modify, or suspend the contest at its discretion.
The contest is void where prohibited by law.
No purchase or contribution is necessary to win.
This drawing is not available to ISACA employees or their family members.
